Gala Day June 6th , Camping and Charles Hunt Trophy June 7th

A whole weekend of sailing …

Gala Day is an opportunity for all member to get together to celebrate the sailing
success and results of the last years sailing.
Can we have help to set up club boats from 10.30 am please.
There will be allocation of teams for a build a boat from recycled materials… the first
team game of many.
Awards will be presented from 11.30
Buffet Lunch 12.30 – 1.30 (£3 pp)
On water games 2.00- 4.00pm and clear away.

5.30/6pm BBQ and socialising and camping over in the club grounds.

It is many years since we have camped over. The park have given permission to
stay over in the club grounds. If the sign up numbers are not looking great or the
weather is looking poor, then the BBQ and Camping over may be cancelled. As with
all activities near water there is a risk and we ask you to be mindful especially if you
have young family with you.

The Charles Hunt race follows on Sunday… so if you camped over then its just a
short stumble to get your boat set up. And maybe bacon buttie for breakfast.
